What We Do

Private Sessions
Available to help those who need help with specific issues, or for those busy families where us coming to you is just more convenient! These training sessions take place in your home and are available weekdays, weeknights or weekends, whenever is best for you. The sessions typically run for 1.5 hrs. We recommend a minimum of 2 sessions, each costing $150.00 + GST.

Pre-Pet Purchase Counselling
A dog is a commitment, there's no doubt about it, and bringing a new dog into the household can be exciting but stressful at the same time. It's critical that you put careful thought, consideration and planning into integrating your new addition into the family. A dog is not an impulse purchase - it will be an important and integral part of your family. A dog is for life. This is a 1.5 hr session; we can meet at your home or another location (coffee is always good!) You bring your list of questions and your wish list, and we will discuss the best dog for you, how to find your new dog, and how to prepare for the dog. I have list of questions for you to answer as well so we cover all bases possible. The cost of the session is $150.00 + GST.

Group Training:

Is your dog polite? If not, would you like him to be?
How to dogs learn naturally?
Does your dog pull on the leash while you're out for a walk?
How often do you talk to your dog? Does she seem to "tune you out"? Why does this happen?
Does your dog come when it's called? Do you have to ask more than once?
Do you trust your dog, or more importantly, do you think your dog trusts YOU?

Our Street Safety Training Class offers much more than the usual Come, Sit, Stay and Down. We actually challenge your thinking and what you've learned about dog training in the past. And as all of our classes are hosted outdoors, you and your dog are exposed to all the sights, sounds, smells and distractions of real life. You'll learn techniques to handle your dog on and off leash, to establish your role as the leader, and to create a true bond of mutual trust and respect, all without using treats or other masking tools such as prong or choke collars

Our classes are powerful and results oriented. All members of the family are encouraged to attend...and be prepared to HUSTLE! Comfy clothing and appropriate footwear are essentials, as is a sense of humor.

Sessions are 8 weeks in length. Classes are 1.5 hours, 2 times per week. Our 8 week class provides a total of 24 hours of instruction. We do not break our classes into Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We also do not discriminate against breed or size; all are welcome (provided vaccinations are up to date and dogs are neutered or spayed.)

Cost is $595+GST

Discounts Available:

Additional dog from same household is $375+GST for the 24 hours of instruction
$50 discount per person when you sign up other people to take the class with you!

6Legs to Fitness^TM

6Legs to Fitness™ is a dynamic, breath taking experience that is good for your heart, lungs, core stability and every muscle group in your body.

Your dog gets a mental workout and partakes in all your hard effort. With challenging moves to stimulate your body and mind, and an education for your dog, you will inevitably build a stronger & closer bond between the two of you. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to get into shape and to learn how to create synergy between you and your dog!

-> Classes are all located outdoors and run a minimum of 60 minutes.
-> $15/class. You can purchase a drop in card where you pre-buy 9 and get the 10th for free (can also be used for Move It! classes.)
-> **WILL START AGAIN IN THE SPRING**
-> A Hustle Up or 6Legs collar is required for this class, as is a 6Legs to Fitness Leash. Please see Our Store for purchase details (they will also be available at the 6Legs classes.)
-> This is NOT a dog training class - our Training Class is NOT a pre-requisite.

Move It!

Move It! focuses on cardio and increasing our overall fitness level. We turn on that pedometer, leash up our muttskies and then MOVE IT!  The only competition here is to see how many steps we can rack up by the end of our walk! The walks move around the city and everyone moves at their own pace and ability. Lots of gabbing and laughter going on. This is not a dog training class, it's all about socializing, having fun and getting our move on.

-> Mon & Thurs nights, 7pm
